Currently Coveting | New Year’s Eve | dress to invest (in your wardrobe!)

New Year’s Eve is coming up, and, if you’re like me, one thought is running through your mind:  WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?
Now, I could go the expected route and wear sequins.  Really, New Year’s Eve is the only holiday that allows for, nay, encourages dressing up like a disco ball.  BUT, personally, if I’m going to invest in a new dress for my wardrobe, I want a piece that is versatile.  A piece that I can wear to the office, for a night out with the girls, for date night, etc…as opposed to something sparkly that will sit in the closet until next year…when, realistically, I’ll look at it and say to myself “But I wore that LAST YEAR!!!” and use that as my excuse to buy a new dress.  So, in that spirit, here are a few options for investment pieces that transition seamlessly from the office to the party.
